Living on-campus:

our tiny kitchen - the first few weeks

During the first few weeks, we didn't have much cooking equipment. After buying some essentials as our Christmas gift to ourselves, we were able to cook more dishes.

optimizing our use of space in the kitchen

We bought a tiny toaster oven and some essential baking and cooking equipment. It's still possible to cook a variety of dishes without owning the latest gadgets. You'll have to be creative sometimes but with a positive mindset, almost everything is possible.

Although we've tried our best to optimize our use of space, this kitchen only accommodates one cook at a time :)
Looking back at the year that we've cooked in this tiny kitchen, we nostalgically remember some of the dishes we've enjoyed.

Even a few batches of beer were 'crafted' in the tiny kitchen -
Here is the process (in very little detail) of a chocolate stout in the making:

Cheers to a year filled with adventurous cooking!
